Started baling in 1949 with Dads Oliver 77 with an IH power take off baler. We did custom baling up to 5 miles away from the farm. Not many balers in our area at the time.
Still would rather use the 77 on the NH 277 baler than any other of my Olivers. The 1650 it to high for my to climb off an on much in one day. I have use a 66 a few time in light hay. Never used the 88 on the baler but don't know why.
