Are these actually uncommon in your areas? They don't just push the post in, you run a hydraulic lever and run the pounder up and down on the top of the post. We have one for 8 inch posts on the front of our 4020 and many of the neighbors have them both front mount and 3 point. I'm in SW WI and it gets really rocky here as well. Dad cuts the posts to a point with a chainsaw beforehand. In fact if you start pulling up rocks with a plow, it means you hit a limestone ridge and you may as well give up now. We've since went to a post hole auger on the front of our skid steer.
