To assure you of the carb being OK (I think it is a plugged fuel delivery system), put gasoline in a pump oil can and use it after it starts by squirting fuel into the carb air opening to provide fuel, if it continues to run, it is fuel delivery. mags rarely stop working after startup. They usually fail to start at all. Jim
