I did that a week ago on a M farmall that I had just pulled my truck out of a ditch with. I guess I have done it so many times I didnt realize in my haste I left it in gear when I killed it. Luckily, I was able to get my sorry carcass out of the way and jump on it and get things under control. With my past couple years witnessing three major bad (two ultimately bad as in no tomorrow) accidents at work, I should be more careful but you really just start feeling immortal again after a couple months.
I lost a great friend a few months ago that had the same lapse in judgement.
