Depending on the meaning of best, there is no contest. The Ford Ferguson 9N was the first commercially available tractor with the revolutionary Ferguson 3 pt. hitch. Every other tractor manufacturer adopted a 3 pt. hitch to their tractors as well and still do. After more than 60 years the 3 pt. hitch is still the standard of the industry in smaller tractors. I don't think there has been any other innovation that has been so universal with every brand of tractor. Well, I guess tires but that's a little different. I realize the 9N wasn't the best 3 pt. tractor made but it was revolutionary. Dave
