I'm a old boy who was over the pond, and we used a system that could be adopted, and modified. Place a fence----------now behind the fence, a mine field--then another fence to protect anyone else that might wonder into the mine field.
To help with the cause, put out propaganda that says x amound were killed last nigh, and x amount killed the day before etc.
