In our country they forcast those several hours ahead and storm watcher are out following them. Sometime that is all that is on TV also can follow them on computer on Mesonet a site that is available from National Weather Burea out of Norman. Lots of live saved by being "Weather Aware". I like the computer radar as you can get a over all view and can zero down to your area and can tell direction the storms are moving. Glad you are OK. gitrib
