I tried this on the allis board and got four replies that the pto rotation wouldn't be right. I just got an Allis B project tractor which didn't have any attatchments. The Allis B I've been running has a 6' woods belly mower. I've just traded some hay for a 5'(?) woods belly mower with IH mounts. Yesterday I tried routing the belt on the new deck just like the old deck and the rotation seems correct to me. I didn't mount the deck or look at the idler pulleys so there may be some issues there. Has anyone actually done this? Would it be better to just look for an allis mount? I'm kinda thinking the decks are the same for both tractors (rotation wise) and how the belt is routed determines rotation. Any woods experts out there?
