They were trying to saw it off with diamond saw, but had to clip it with a shear instead, because saw got bound in the saw kerf. Now saying they won't get a good seal on the cap because of rough cut by the shears.
For heaven's sake, don't any of them have an ounce of common sense? NOW go back with the diamond saw and make a clean cut- with all the weight of the blowout preventer off, THE SAW WON'T BIND UP! And with those robots down there, if it starts to bind, have a robot push on the pipe to keep the weight off. Haven't any of these guys ever done anything practical in their lives?
