I was part of a group trying to attract a major amusement park to SW Washington several years ago- but they all said "Forget it, it rains all the time there." We finally commissioned a study, and rainfall statistics showed that the only place drier in the summer is the desert southwest. Not uncommon for us to go 30 days without rain in summer, and has gone up to 80 or so consecutive rainless days.
