Where are you at? Here in the Western Washington it has been raining for, I forget exactly how long (Feels like forever), I think about 20 days. Heavy rain for us yesterday. Got about 1 1/4 inch. Needless to say, we are so far behind this spring. Havn"t even got our pumpkins in the ground. One planting of sweet corn and beans are up, but we have missed planting 2 others.
Funny thing is people think it always rains here. Yes it does all winter. But by this time of year it is usually drier. Forcasted to rain off and on until Saturday. (Always nice on the weekends so we have to work and the crew is off).
Reading some of the other posts, I can"t even imagine receiving 4", or 6" of rain in a day. Close to 2" of rain in 24hrs is the biggest storm I remember. 5" of rain for a week would be huge too. Although living in Western Washington raining for 30 days in the winter would be nothing new.
