Kajun, Glad you got your problem fixed easily. I had a 444 IH for many years - One of the best tractors I ever owned. It was wore out when I got it (used in logging operation) and I still got about 10 years of mostly trouble free use out of it. Those tanks are prone to rust and the line between the tank and filter stopped up a lot on mine. I finally broke down and pulled the tank and flushed it out real good. That tractor is kinda hard to bleed too. I would break each injector line aloose (one at a time) and crank it until fuel came out - then tightened it back up. After doing all of them it still took a good bit of cranking to start it back. Are your glow plugs working? Mine had been disconnected when I got it. I used just a tiny shot of starting fluid year round and it fired right up. Should have fixed the glow plugs but figured that little bit of ether wouldn't hurt. I kinda miss the old tractor. If the hydraulics weren't COMPLETELY worn out I would have kept it. The oil pressure had dropped to 20 lbs. at operating rpms but it didn't use any oil. The hour meter had been broken for years so there's no telling how many hours it had on it. I hope you have as good service out of yours that I did. TB

The colony remained far from self-supporting and it was not until the early 1800's that things started to improve. Free settlers started to arrive, they followed the explorers across the mountains and where land was suitable set up farms. T
