cummins are very very very very very sensitive to fuel flow to the i-pump.... the slightest restriction in the filter or a bad or weak lift pump will do that. A leak anywhere so that the fuel will drain back will do it as well.. The i-pump must have a good feed at all times as I said earlier, its very very very very very very sensitive to feed pressure..
