I am putting a 5.9 into my White tractor. Got an engine from a bus with the P 7100 pump. The first time I ran it I could run it at idle but as soon as it went over about 1200 RPM it would run the pitts and smoke like it was -40. I left it sit for a few days and the next time I tried it it worked fine, no smoke and reved out nice. Today I fired it up again and it did the same thing as the first time. What is going on? Has anyone come across this situation before, if so, what did it take to fix the problem? Thanks for the help. Bruce
