Bought a 5000 today (NOT a Fordson Major) but one in the thousand series. I've not found much on this and tractordata site about this tractor. Stamped numbers are 9M30B above AJ7016. I think production on these tractors stopped maybe 1975 or so. Sooo, let's hear from some other owner's about the good, bad and ugly of this Blue Boy. I see many 2000 and 3000 models all the time but I needed a larger model and I think the 5000 will do the job. Thanks in advance for your input. brownsmule
