There was a couple of PTO sizes when they first got put onto tractors. Manufacturers finally standardized on one size - I think its 1 3/8 , six slines. I have a pto shaft on my F14 that is 1 1/8 shaft, 6 spline. Maybe thats what you have. If so you can buy an adaptor to change sizes.
