Either the shift linkage (external) or internal shift fork is bent, or more likely the High gear splines are worn on both the slider and the input shaft. It will get worse, I am not sure your model number is correct, so to be sure we are discussing the same unit, please put a photo, or recheck the serial plate for a prefix. Jim
