tractor pops out of gear when in high if you haol pressure on lever it stays in has anyone seen this before if so what was cause and how to fix thanks

Either the shift linkage (external) or internal shift fork is bent, or more likely the High gear splines are worn on both the slider and the input shaft. It will get worse, I am not sure your model number is correct, so to be sure we are discussing the same unit, please put a photo, or recheck the serial plate for a prefix. Jim

724 is a german build tractor that was exported to Canada, doubt any were sold new in the US but some may have ventured south.

this is a made in germany model i was lookig to buy i wonder how deep i would have to go to solve problem high low and reverse are on the one stick reverse seems ok never tried low thanks any advise is great
