jacking up the rear end

Hey, I have to move the rear wheels out farther on the axles. I have a 3020 weight is about 7300 lbs. If I use a jack that will lift 2 ton. How much am i lifting when i lift one axle side at a time?? I figure i should be able to lift one at a time and not be lifting the max for the jack.. Any comments on this idea would be appreciated. THanks Mss
