yes I think you are..... we had a late model 670 super (like '72 maybe) maybe ours was just out of adjustment but it was like that for 20 YEARS WHILe we owned it - we had a loader on it also...... but there was a LOT of times, if you push in the cltuch you have to pull the torque lever back in order to take it out of gear - going up a small incline it was almost like one of those subaru "hill holding clutches" it won't roll backwards (or get it out of gear) until you pull the torque back
