Hey Guys,
I'm looking into buying a square bales to do about 500-1000 bales of straw each year, so not a whole lot of use. BUT, I would like to be able to move faster than a crawl, because we drill beans into the wheat stubble, so time is important. Just trying to find another little niche here.
In my area the older New Hollands seem to be the most prevalent, I'm assuming because they were the best option until the 336-era JD balers were sold. (I've done a lot of throwing behind a 336, I know they're pretty good) I don't quite need the capacity of a newer JD or NH, but I would like to find a machine that is dependable and will still move along well. What models would you recommend. (there seem to be about 15 NH models of the 2xx variery)
(There is a NH 268 on craigslist for $1000, stated in good-excellent condition)
