Consider spring-loading the blade so if you hit something solid the blade deflects down. Those loader arms are none too strong (judging by the 50+ years of welds and patchs on mine!) Some home built blade rigs I"ve seen use separate, more robust push arms that run under the tractor and attach to the rear axle housing with a pivot mount and then use the loader arms only to lift the blade. That"d be a lot easier on the loader arms. Good luck!
