I am not done yet I need to add my bracing
tomarrow from the top of the blade to the loader arm's and as far as being a light blade that blade come off of that drag blade fram it was given to me just to haul off for junk. The blade is 1/4'' thick. I would think it would be heavy enough for pushing snow, durt, rock dont you think.
But that drag blade frame should work to hang my suit case weights on wouldnt you think. If not
I still have iron for the pile.

Well I know my V plow is made from 3/8 and it bent the first time I used it but has not since. I have found pushing one and pulling one are 2 different things

Consider spring-loading the blade so if you hit something solid the blade deflects down. Those loader arms are none too strong (judging by the 50+ years of welds and patchs on mine!) Some home built blade rigs I"ve seen use separate, more robust push arms that run under the tractor and attach to the rear axle housing with a pivot mount and then use the loader arms only to lift the blade. That"d be a lot easier on the loader arms. Good luck!

P.S. Thanks to OLD for offering me (and many others) good advice over the years!

Leave it so can roll under if you hit a solid object and get some heavy springs to hold it up like the snow blades of trucks. I dont think it will hold up to gravel or dirt too well anyway.
