There must be a door on the side of the bin with a small door to let corn run out. As long as it is a 18 foot bin you won't hurt anything by opening that door and letting it run out. When it quits running out they can clean it with the vac just about as easy as if you had a cleanout auger in the middle. If you have a cleanout auger in the middle they could use a sweep to clean most of the floor but it sounds like you hire them to clean it now and with a vac handy there is no use going to the expense of buying a tube and pot in the center. A lot of gov bins were 18 foot and they had a cleanout door inside the regular door. They help 3250 bushels and usually there would be approx 800 bushels left when the grain quit running out of the hole.
