I have a 18' bin that I want to put a drying floor in this year. The place I sell the corn to has a grain vac that they use now to empty the bin. My question is; do I need a unloading auger or can I just put a tube and sump in the center of the bin and can they suck the grain out that way? It would save quite a bit of $$ not buying a unload auger, and a 6" is awful slow for loading out a semi, but doesn't seem right to put a 8" auger under the floor for just around 4000 bu. Will this work? I know when the corn quits coming out of the center they will have to vac the rest out from the inside. Your thoughts, Chris
