My 94 ranger with the 2.3L 4 cylinder is acting strange lately. If it's cold it starts right up and runs fine but if I go in somewhere for a few minutes and come back out, it won't start until it has cooled off for 5 to 15 minutes. On top of that, it had no power when I drove out to my land. I couldn't keep it at 100km/h even if I took it out of O/D and into drive. It was totally gutless. Luckily I made it to my land and got my other truck. It's a 2500 with a 6 L and really sucks the gas but at least it has power. Anyone have an idea what to check on the ranger? I've heard a fuel pump going might cause that? Thanks for your help. Dave
