It was a very simple thing. 10 or 12 straight rods with various weights on the ends. all mounted on a shaft with a homemade lubricant for the bearings. No magnets or batteries. no electric at all. Just weights. He also had a briggs 5 H.P. engine turning three alternators charging a bank of batteries that ran all the equipment, lights, coolers, meat saws and cash register in his grocery store, gas station. had DC motors on everything but gas pumps. Kept electricity for that and emergencies. Had Briggs on timer to start and charge at regular intervals. I drove Semi-truck for him.
