Has anyone heard of the guy's in Austrailia with their over-unity machine? Google Lutec & check 'em out. Any opions?
 
I see by your post above (what's OT) that you're kind of new to the board. Many of us don't consider ourselves to be the best spellers (or typists) in the world, so we generally ignore mis-spellings or typos, for the sake of harmony amongst the folks. Thanks for your cooperation.
 
There are hunderds of individuals that push the reality button when it is not in the circuit.
The actual laws of electrical physics, Quantum Electro Dynamics, are pretty well understood (probably better than any other set of physical parameters in our understanding). There is just no point in trying to debunk the imposible. If they actually had a device they would be making vast quantities of money selling them. Jim
 
My opinion is the same as I was taught at engineering school at Purdue University. One cant create or destroy energy, only change its form and any attempt at perpetual motion or a machine capable of producing more energy then it consumes violates the well settled and proven laws of Physics and Thermodynamics. However thats been wayyyyyy back in the sixties, so if the laws of Physics and Thermodynamics have changed Id be interested to hear but Im NOT holding my breath or believing it just yet that is.

Like previous comments on physics and thermocdynamics. Would not this idea generate
heat and friction? Also, where does the free
DC electric come from?
 

That is why they discontinued the E.T.D. It was
as close to perpetual motion as anyone has come.(Also, my ex-mother-in-laws mouth ran a close second) I realize this was a serious and technical subject but I just couldn't resist.

I was thinking pretty good of you lately. Figuring you had gotten over the perpetual motion and free energy schemes.
Looks like you have had a weak moment and fallen off the wagon.
Until you can place 100lbs on seat of a kid's teeter-toter. And 200lbs on the other seat, then have the 100lb weight lift the 200lb weight. The "over unity" scheme isn't going to work.
 
I had heard that toilets flush backwards Down Under, but I had no idea the laws of thermodynamics worked backwards there as well! No wonder they still like big V-8 engines in Oz: the faster they drive the faster their gas tanks fill up!
 
Years ago, I worked for a guy that built a gadget
which he could just give a little light push and it would run better than two weeks. He was on the right path but he went crazy before he got it perfected.
 
Last year my neice went to Equador for several months to study. She went to a museum exhibit located right on the equator. She watched as they filled a square laundry tub style sink with water and then pulled the plug. Then they moved several feet over the equator and repeated the demo. The water spiraled the other direction as it drained.
 
She said they explained it like this: If you were to stand facing another person and hold a globe between you with the N and S poles facing each other horizontally. As the earth spins between you and the other person as you face it, it will say, spin clockwise, as he faces it, it will be spinning counterclockwise. And at the equator it is divided.
 
Yaa , I will keep on bringing it up again. I still believe a permanent magnet has a power of its own.And it is not understood. It looks like they are using those in their motor too. We are old & set in our ways but I am hoping some of the younger ones will take interest & not blindly believe it can't be done. It is not perpetual motion. The non-believers label it that & it is not free energy either. It is converting mass into energy.
 
If that's the case both poles would have equal affects so On the equator water should just go down without any spinning movement , but the water in the west side of the drain pipe would be slower than the east because of rotation of the earth.
 
John; The laws haven't been changed. All I ask is that you get a copy of Joe Newman's book & he will explain how it is done. His last prototype that he hand built weighs 7500 pounds with a 1650 pound permanent magnet rotor on a 3 inch shaft. A conventional motor that size would require thousands of watts to run it with cables as big or bigger than your thumb. Joe's machine (called The Big Eureka) runs on solar panels,9 volt flashlight batteries or a small ac to dc transformer, all of which are low wattage devices. The imput wires look like 14 or 16 gauge wires, not big cables. Check it out on his website & see for yourself. Thanks, Don.

Back to your feelings on magnets. Do you also believe that springs contain an energy source?
 
The water in the toilet swirls the other way in the southern hemisphere, due to the Earth's rotation, just as low pressure areas turn clockwise, and high pressurte areas turn counter clockwise, the opposite of the northern hemisphere.
 
It was a very simple thing. 10 or 12 straight rods with various weights on the ends. all mounted on a shaft with a homemade lubricant for the bearings. No magnets or batteries. no electric at all. Just weights.
He also had a briggs 5 H.P. engine turning three alternators charging a bank of batteries that ran all the equipment, lights, coolers, meat saws and cash register in his grocery store, gas station. had DC motors on everything but gas pumps. Kept electricity for that and emergencies. Had Briggs on timer to start and charge at regular intervals. I drove Semi-truck for him.
 
The swirl is due to the position of the jets cast into the rim . The Coriolis effect is too weak to be observed except under a controlled laboratory experiment . Then it is hardly noticeable . Go watch another episode of the Simpson"s and see if you can figure out how to work on a tractor .
 
We have destroyed matter for years, both intentionally in reactors and bombs, and naturally as radio isotopes decay. The issue is they destroy into energy. Even neutrinos (pretty weird particle wave thingies) are carriers of energy balancing the reactions to Zero loss. Cosmic black holes have real strange ways of leaking reality at their event horizon. Stephen Hawking is pretty clear on the issue of wrongful disappearance. Jim
