Anybody remember the old, old mail boxes? Not the kind we have now days, these the lid hinged in the back and opened up towards the back, just like a tool box. The one I have is very heavy galvanized steel. We made brackets and mounted it on the ladder up to the engine platform on our Gleaner. It was wonderful, and the way the lid was designed it would not leak. Plus even had a little shelf big enough to hold a few coins so you could leave change for the mailman.
