When my daughter was about 5 or 6 she became very creative with the pedal tractor. She started with the tractor and wagon and kept on adding until she had a parade. With rope, ribbon, twine, etc she added tricycles, other kids wagons, push toys, and anything else that rolled. Each item was populated with dolls and stuffed animals. She and a friend would do this for hours taking turns driving and fixing upsets.
Throw in some rope and other rolling objects and see what happens.
