A governor off of a massey 300 or possibly a 410 gas combine might also work.. these should be belt driven.. I know the 300 is, 510 and 750 gas massey combines also have belt driven governors, and I believe a 4400 JD gasser would have a belt driven one (I think that's the JD that uses the 292 gm engine). I used to have one off of a 300, but I believe I have given it away to someone...
