My year follows a fairly routine timeline. Wintertime is rest, take it easy and get things done I don't have time for the rest of the year. Early spring is champing at the bit waiting for the weather so my business can get rolling and for the farmers markets to open. At that time I usually wind up doing a lot of wondering how the year is going to go. Then spring comes and it is nothing but work, work, work. Summer the work slows down a bit, but it's hot outside so it still takes it out of me. Early fall is getting ready for winter, squaring things away and taking advantage of any last business opportunities I might have available. Doesn't slow down until after Thanksgiving.
Right now it's all work and no play, so fall is an awful long way off. Thanks for the nice picture, anyway.

Today's Featured Article - 12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
