It seems like dirty fuel, but I have filled tank with new octane 93 fuel and the problem persists. I have put in a bottle of Lucas Fuel system cleaner but no significant change yet. I may add another bottle when the tank reaches the half-full mark.
Any ideas?????
Thanks
This sounds like an ignition missfire to me. OBDII systems will allow a certain number of misssfires before a Check Engine Light is illuminated. The ECU counts the missfire events and if there is not enough to set the code you would not know it. See if your Maintenance Manual list a resistance check for the Coil Packs and replace all of them that are even slightly out of limits.
