Thanx for coming back at me. It spins a little faster now that I changed all the cables to 2/0. The small one I had between the starter button and the starter was the culprit (2guage). It still doesn't spin fast enough though. I'll take your advise and check those brushes. I'll also polish up the commutator with some sand paper.....Thanx to all who wrote in....Dave
