I see how there could be an optical illusion using a zoom lens. I made my living as a firefighter and later as a supervisor. As a result of my training and experiences my views are heavily shaded toward safety. I�ve had to go up into a tree twice to remove a body from a tree after the sawyer had contacted electrical utility wires.
