I lease 25 acres of land in N.C to a farmer who uses crop rotation of soy beans and feed corn. This year he planted feed corn.He come in with the sprayer and applyed herbicide to the fields and next day came in with the corn planter that has chemical tanks on front of planter. The ground was dry and still no rain is in forecast.Three weeks later the corn is 6 inches tall and growing good.My question is how can this corn grow so well when there is very little moister in ground?I'm having to water my garden almost everyday to keep my vegtables alive.
