My 2 cents worth. Find some one who has experience in this hobby and get his input. Make sure he isnt a "NUT" for any particular brand. Dont buy on price alone, try to find a tractor that needs the least amt of replacement parts such as rear tires, internal engine, transmission and sheet metal. Its cheaper in the long run. Go simple on the first one and have patience during the restoration, if you get stuck, get on this forum for advice, you can always get that for free.
