kendak, I wonder how many people even know that there is a neutral in their vehicle if it is an automatic. I know that I rarely use neutral and to try and hunt for that when things are getting away from you might be tough for some people. I can remember using my brothers Allis with a chopper. I hadn't driven it too much and when I got to the end of a steeper field and turned down hill the hand clutch released and just like that I was going down hill to beat ell. All that I could do was try and hit the brakes and steer it around the corner as fast as I could. another time I was going down a steep logging road with my 4 wheeler. My front brakes were low on fluid but I always got by with the rear brake until one time the tranny jumped out of gear. With the tranny out of gear the rear brakes no longer work so it was warp speed fast. All that I could do is turn it up hill which resulted in tipping it over. I tried to roll down hill out of the way but it caught up with me and rolled right over me. A guy that I worked with rolled his four wheeler over and the wooden box that he had on there to hold supplies hit and killed him.
