I have only pulled a few times, but live on a farm and regularly use the old tractors. The best tire pressure will be so that the full tread lays on the ground. Maybe try to make it spin and if the black mark is even the full tire width that shoudl be close. I ahve also heard 1 psi per thousand punnds of tractor. about the front end. You want ot to jsut come off the ground so all the weight is on the rear. A higher, longer drawbar will halp to pick the front end, and shorter, lower will bring it back to the ground. To test my tractor, I chained it to a big tree and slipped the clutch to see whether it would spin or run out of power, or do a wheelie. If you can find out the chain length that you will using to pull becuase the lenngth and angle to the ground shoudl be the same when you practice. Good luck.
