It doesn't appear to be just PA, it's the FEDS. As for the OP subject, Yup, I agree that government is regulating the life out of us. Politicians think they have an answer for everything.
Just last week went to a township mtg where they began discussions on a "clear-cutting" ordinance. Seems some guy who owned 80 acres of woods hired a company to clear cut it. Probably sold the lumber and wood chips to make some money. Well, residents complained that it "looked terrible". So now, the township wants to write an ordinance to prevent it. I spoke up and said if the neighbors liked the trees so much, they should have bought the property off of the guy. One of the twp board members DID ask if this was still America and if we still had any rights left as property owners.
As for the driving regulations, I guess they're trying to prevent an accident that MAY happen without considering the hardship that their solution will cause. If they're so concerned about accidents on our roads, why not just ban ALL vehicles from ALL roads? That would be a surefire way to prevent vehicle deaths. LOL.
