I'm gonna go with everyone else... Tube it, in the end it'll work out better.
All of my stuff is tubed, except for my plow.. Still don't know why it ended up without tubes, but for the little use it sees, it's been fine.. But growing up on the farm I remember Grandpa and my uncle having a Krause field cultivator, seemed like it was always getting dirt into the bead and before you knew it, the tire was flat and off the bead. They had a similar problem with their no till grain drill too.. Tubed it up, and never bothered after.
