I'm new to tractors bigger than a JD 318, just bought a 1949 JD MT and I need to replace one of the front rims and tire (rim is rotted away around the valve stem). The existing rim has a tire with inner tube, the question I have is are inner tubes still a necessity for tractor tires or can I go tubeless. The closest thing I owned to a true "tractor" before this month are 2 JD 318 garden tractors an of course they run tubeless tires.
