Bob I've read the replies you've gotten and I must say most don't know what they're taling about. I have a B5100 and it is amazing what it will do and where you can get it. I bought mine new in 1984 and have had very few problems in the 26 years since. You just need to remember it is not a big tractor--they are still garden tractors. 5100--13 horse; 6100--14-15; and 7100--16-17. Be aware they do not have water pumps and completely depend on natural circulation with all the associated issues. Value? The loader and the mower will cost $1000 to $1500 depending on condition. So the tractor it self is $4500 to 5500 which isn't bad considering the tractor works pretty good for "estate" lots. Remember they are garden tractors. Also remember that any tractor 20 to 35/40 appears over priced when compared to those over 50 horses.
