ROPS-Use It

Mowing on a slope without a ROPS tends to make my butt pucker. Just put a ROPS on a 950 I use to mow with. Out of curiosity, I looked on the net for ROPS information. Although the numbers vary, statistics show that approximately 90% of rollovers without ROPS are fatal. With ROPS (and using your seat belt), only about 25% are fatal. You can find this information by using Yahoo or other search engine and searching for "roll over protection". If you don't have a ROPS and you don't have all flat ground, get a ROPS (and use the seat belt). It could save your life and a lot of grief for your family. Also, many of the major tractor manufacturers have joined a program to sell ROPS at their cost. I have no financial interest in any ROPS manufacturer. Just an interest in seeing people observe safety.
