Geez, you guys are just not with the consumer-oriented economy; we don"t make much any more so we have to sell stuff to each other, and one of the things everyone sells is lists of prospects. The cards (or your checks/credit/debit cards etc) let the info miners know everything you"ve bought, so they can sell that info to other companies that sell similar items. I"d pay cash for the liquor, cigarettes, etc, though, before your health/accident ins co"s raise your rates as a higher risk...welcome to 1984!
