Ya might try slightly larger wire if your replacing that anyway so less power is lost going to the coil. E=IR always. No one can talk about voltage without talking about restance and current. They are all tied together. Tyler has a good point in trying the 12V coil first unless money is no object..then by everything new. 6:1 compression isn't too much for a coil to produce a usable spark on plugs with .025 gap. .Ralph
