I think you put the wrong part on. 4wd front hubs on a 2 wheel drive. The cv axle and nut would have held those bearings together and they would have been fine. autozone give out wrong parts all the time. I would be giving the parts store you bought them from a ear full for giving you the wrong parts. There is a diffrence between hubs for a 2wd and 4wd
