I read through the responses below and I think you guys are missing where the shims are on a F-20. If its like my W30 the shims are actually spacers on the bolts that tighten the bearings. They are designed to have a few removed as the bearings wear. When I did my W30 I did it by trial and error. I put some on each pistion and turned over the motor and messed with them until it seemed too tight, then added a couple. Obviously I'm not an expert mechanic or I would have had a better way to do it. If the F-20 is different or I misread what everyone is saying then just ignor me - I'll probably be wrong again tomorrow.
