Dave, the 20 gauge slugs I have for the boys 20 gauge are 485 grains which is a lot of bullet so I figure with out of course checking a 410 slug will be around 150-200 grains and in a 3 inch mag that will be more then enough to drop a deer. I know my 123 grain SKS rounds sure make fast work of them. And ya there are things like foot pounds and how fast it goes etc etc to think about but I would think a 410 would be about like my 50cal black powder gun as far as hit
