I agree with you Stan. I try and disassemble just about everything. Problem today is too many things are "throwaway" and you can't take them apart or you'll destroy them doing so. Even then, I've done it only to find that the broken part is NOT sold separately. Most things are assembled for the ease and cost of the producer, NOT the end user to maintain. Cars are a good example.
